Tanil
Tanil Cagdas was born in Izmir/Turkey in 1980, grown up in Aydin, lived in Istanbul for 17 years and then moved to Melbourne in 2017. He has been living there since then. He is a member of the band Black Sea of Trees along with his solo project. He has been in many bands and played with several artists such as SST, Electric circus, Fatih Erkoc, Serhat Beduk, The National evening express, Sound park, No zone, Fatal error, Aksi, Ancients, Kasif, Sarcasm, Son durak…
Mr. Li
Guanting Li, also called Qishan, born in Liquan of Shanxi Province, graduated from Xi’ and Academy of Fine Arts. He was once the Art director of Xi’, a Chinese Painting Academy and the Institute director of Chinese Culture and Arts Institute in Xi’ an International Studies University. He currently serves as a Director of the Australian National Arts Academy, the executive vice president of Australian Artists Association, the editor-in-chief of Journal of Global Arts in Australia and the consultant of Shuimoyonghe Art Salon in Beijing China
Jennifer
Jennifer Jin, was born in Shanghai, China, is a VIT registered EAL teacher with a double degree in Master of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and Master of Teaching (Secondary) from the University of Melbourne. She has a 8-year teaching experience in supporting international students to learn English in interdisciplinary and interactive ways. Drama is one of her methods to engage students. She is now a member of the Student Association at Turner English, and will be our drama teacher during the camp.
PLEASE NOTE: Turner English – English Festival 2021 are DIGITAL FREE ZONES. Mobiles will need to be left to the management during registration and may be collected Thursday morning. photos will be shared by the management team.
